Rocky Mount, North Carolina – A woman was shot and killed Friday night at Chili’s restaurant in Rocky Mount, according to Police Chief Robert Hassel.
An employee was also hospitalized after being shot at around 7 pm at 862 Wesleyan Blvd.
Hassel said Friday’s shooting was the fourth killing this week in Rocky Mount.
Earlier today, Hassel and Mayor Sandy Roberson issued statements in an attempt to reassure the public about the violence.
