GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan – Protesters marched through downtown Grand Rapids, chanting and at times blocking traffic on Friday night, demanding responsibility for the fatal police shooting of Patrick Lioya.
“Unless we all come together as people who love other people and human beings, what happened to Patrick in Grand Rapids will happen to someone in another city,” a protester named Dennis Bouthright told Fox News. .
“Ordinary people need to go out and hold our society accountable for maintaining racist views,” Bowright said.

A Grand Rapids employee stopped Lioja because his license plate did not match his car, according to police. Leia got out of the car and started leaving the scene during the exchange, according to a video released by the city police department on Wednesday.

Bowright said “the policeman who killed Patrick should be charged.”
