A large search for a missing 13-year-old boy from East Renfrewshire, who has not been seen for two days, is under way.
Adam Fimister was last seen at his home in Newton Myrns around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and has not been in contact with acquaintances or family since.
Police say concerns about his well-being are growing as they call for help from the public in his search.
The student, who is known to visit the Nilston, Clarkston and Thornlibank districts, has been described as about 5 feet 8 with a lean physique and short brown hair.
Sergeant Thomas Turner said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned about his safety as he is only 13 years old. We want to monitor it as soon as possible to ensure that it is safe and well.
“He is known to be visiting the Nilston, Clarkston, Thornlibank and Paisley areas and is continuing his search and investigation to be traced.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Adam or who has any information about his whereabouts to contact the officers through 101.”
