Police and paramedics were called in to report stabbing near CRAB Park in Vancouver on Saturday morning.
Photos from the scene show numerous police officers at the entrance to the park and blocking nearby streets. Numerous evidence markers can be seen on the sidewalk, and a small white tent is placed behind the warning strip.
BC’s emergency services told CTV News that the call was received shortly after 10:20 a.m.
Four ground ambulances and a supervisor were sent to the scene, but no patients were transported.
The EHS does not publicly confirm the deaths, but when ambulances are dispatched and no one is transported, it often means that the intended patients have died on the spot.
CTV News contacted the Vancouver Police Department and received a short e-mail reply stating only that officers were responding to a “serious incident”.
Police said more details would be provided when they became available. This history will be updated if additional information is received.
