A man is in hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked by a riot of young people in Glasgow.
The 38-year-old man left a bar on King Street, Merchant City, on Friday, May 6, before being attacked by the gang.
Emergency services were visited and the victim was taken to the Royal Hospital in Glasgow.
Forensic scientists have launched an investigation into the incident and are turning to the public for information.

In particular, they want to hear from pedestrians who would be in the area at the time, or drivers with a record from a dashboard.
Detective Officer Larissa Cooper said: “This incident happened in a busy part of the city, so we believe that there will be a number of pedestrians and drivers who will have seen the attack.
“We ask everyone who has information or potential footage from the camera to speak.
“If you have any information that could help our inquiries, please call 101, citing incident 2818 on May 6.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
