Elon Musk has said he will lift Twitter’s ban on Donald Trump after saying the social media platform has a strong left-wing bias.
Musk, the world’s richest man, who agreed to a $ 44 billion deal to buy Twitter, said the decision to remove the former president was “morally wrong and completely stupid.”
The 75-year-old Trump was expelled from Twitter in January last year after his supporters stormed the US Capitol. He was accused of risking “further incitement to violence” with his tweets. Since then, Trump has founded his own platform, Truth Social, and said he is not interested in returning to Twitter, the platform on which he has built his political career.
