At its conference for I / O developers today, Google not only made the official Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro, but also annoyed a bunch of new products coming in the future.
Let’s start with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which will be powered by the next generation Google Tensor SoC. The company shows us their backs, and while the design of the Pixel 6’s “viewfinder” is intact, the camera strip itself is already made of polished aluminum, which runs straight into the frame on both sides, for a more integrated look.
The camera’s cutouts in aluminum are also very obvious, for a bolder, even more recognizable look than last year’s Pixels.
Google Pixel 7 Pro
The Pixel 7 has two rear cameras and the 7 Pro has three, so things won’t change on the front. The devices are expected to be fully announced this fall, along with the next annoying item – the Pixel Watch.
This is the first smartwatch developed from scratch by Google, and the leaks were correct once again – it is round, has a dome-shaped glass and will be offered with Fitbit integration, as Google owns Fitbit.
This means that you will receive fitness tracking with active zone minutes, statistics, progress and personal fitness goals, continuous monitoring of heart rate, and sleep tracking powered by Fitbit. A new Google Home app also comes in Wear OS, allowing you to easily manage your connected devices right from your wrist.
Finally, and surprisingly, since this hasn’t expired at all, Google is also working on a Pixel tablet. This will be released next year, and today the company decided to give us a brief look.
It is powered by Google Tensor, “designed to be the perfect companion to your Pixel phone.” As you can see, the frame is relatively thin (for a tablet) and the front camera is mounted in one of them. Oh, and there’s a single camera on the back.
