Toronto police responded to Bloor St. E. and Yonge St. at 9:09 p.m. for signals that a woman had been pushed to the rails and hit by a train.

The woman was rushed to hospital and police are looking for a suspect who was last seen heading west on Bloor St.
Police later said the woman’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a white woman wearing a pink / gray hat, a black fluffy jacket, a gray hood, black pants and a red bag.
The TTC said around 9:30 p.m., trains do not stop at Bloor-Yonge, “while we respond to a rail injury.” There was also a service interruption between St. George and Broadview, announced about 10 minutes earlier due to “injury to the runways.”
