Leaders of four major Ontario political parties took to the stage for a live televised debate in Toronto on Monday night.
Progressive Conservative leader Doug Ford, NDP leader Andrea Horvath, Liberal leader Stephen Del Duca and Green Party leader Mike Schreiner took part in the 90-minute debate.
The debate was moderated by journalists Steve Peykin and Altia Raj.
Party leaders asked questions from moderators, which were developed in partnership with a consortium of regional broadcasters that organized the debate, as well as voters in Ontario.
Participants in the event had to have candidates participating in “all or almost all” competitions in Ontario, who currently have an MPP elected, sitting in the provincial legislature.
Ontarians are due to go to the polls on June 2, and party leaders have spent the last week of the campaign traveling the countryside fighting for your vote.
