Missing Montgomery County mother Jennifer Brown found dead, officials say – NBC10 Philadelphia

A Montgomery County woman who had been missing for more than two weeks was found dead Wednesday, officials said.

SkyForce10 was above the scene as police searched a wooded area behind a warehouse along the 200 block of North 5th Street in Royersford Wednesday afternoon. Sources told NBC10 the search is in connection with the disappearance of 43-year-old Jennifer Brown.

During an afternoon press conference, officials revealed that Brown was found dead and partially buried in a shallow grave in Royersford. Authorities have not announced any arrests or cause of death. They are still investigating.

Brown, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, was last seen alive at 2pm on Tuesday, January 3, by her friend and business partner Antonio ‘Blair’ Watts-Richardson.

Watts-Richardson told NBC10 he was with Brown on Jan. 3 and took her 8-year-old son to his house for a sleepover that night.

“I put Noah on the bus the next day,” Watts-Richardson said.

Watts-Richardson told NBC10 that Brown never called that night to talk to him or his son.

Brown was supposed to pick up her son from the bus stop the following afternoon on January 4, but never showed up.

“She’s a gentle, I call her, helicopter mom. She loves her son. She would never abandon her son,” Tiffany Barron, Brown’s best friend, told NBC10.

Police are searching for a Montgomery County mother who has been missing for several days. NBC10’s Aaron Baskerville has the latest on the investigation.

Watts-Richardson said she did not know what happened to Brown between Jan. 3 and the morning of Jan. 4.

“I have nothing to do with anything,” Watts-Richardson said. “Just because I’m the last person to see her doesn’t mean anything.

Watts-Richardson told NBC10 that she and Brown planned to open a new restaurant together.

“It looks like I’m the one who got stabbed,” Watts-Richardson said. “And it’s frustrating because I’m the first person to call the police trying to break windows. I’m trying to find my friend. Trying to make sure her son was covered.

Jennifer Brown

Brown’s car was parked outside her Stratford Court home, not far from where her body was eventually found. Her car keys, wallet, purse and work cell phone were found in the vehicle. Her personal cell phone has not been located and has been out of service since the morning of January 4.

Police, sanitation workers and a sniffer dog were seen searching a landfill in hopes of uncovering new information about the whereabouts of Jennifer Brown, a Montgomery County mother who went missing on Jan. 4. NBC10’s Deanna Durante has the latest on the investigation.

Brown’s family initially offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who could help them find her. Last week, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele announced the reward was up to $15,000.
