Roman Zhuravski moved his elderly mother Olena to the city of Dnipro last year, believing it to be a safer place to live during the war.

But on Saturday, January 14, a Russian missile strike hit the city, leveling Roman’s apartment block.

On Wednesday, Zelensky reflected on the 40 deaths caused by the attack. Roman’s mother is one of those still missing.
