Sharing your Netflix password is so common that the streaming giant has recently been forced to strike at millions of subscribers who violate the terms of use. They may be surprised to learn that even the British Minister for Culture is among them.
Nadine Doris admitted today that she is ignoring the rules of the streaming giant by giving children and her mother access to her Netflix account.
Giving evidence to the Commons’ Committee on Digital Technology, Culture, Media and Sport, Doris said: “I thought it was always an incredibly generous system. I want to say that my mother has access to my account, as well as the children. There are four other people who have access to my Netflix account in different parts of the country. Well, we probably shouldn’t do that. “
