A man was seriously injured after being hit by a van in Oldham. Chamber Road was closed for hours after a collision with a pedestrian and a minibus.
A 20-year-old man was rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries during the incident at around 4.20pm yesterday. Police said the driver of the van was assisting in the investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and an air ambulance landed nearby. Officials said a recent crash involving a car that crashed into a lamppost was not related to the serious collision.

A GMP spokesman said: “Officers were called in to signal a collision involving a minibus and a pedestrian on Chamber Road in Oldham shortly before 4:20 pm yesterday (May 20, 2022).
“Emergency services arrived and a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road was closed and emergency services arrived on the scene and conducted an inspection.
