PALOS VERDES ESTATES, California (KABC) – One person was killed and three were injured after falling from a cliff in the Palos Verdes Estates area on Monday morning, sparking a major rescue response.
They fell about 300 feet above the cliff, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The incident was filed around 4:30 a.m. near the Paseo del Mar, according to the LAFD. Four people were involved in the rescue, including the fatal victim, but it is not clear how these people fell off the cliff.
The AIR7 HD was above the stage as crews brought at least two of these people to safety. Their conditions were not immediately available.DEVELOPMENT: We will add more details to this report when they become available.
