A woman has been arrested after she allegedly tried to rob an A&W restaurant on 100 Mile House with a target.
On Monday, April 18, at 8:10 a.m., the local RCMP responded to a call announcing a woman with a firearm in the restaurant and that staff had “freaked out.”
When police arrived minutes later, they found a suspected woman fighting with two officers. She was arrested safely and transported to the police station.
Police describe her as a 42-year-old Caucasian woman they know. Her name has not been released, pending allegations by the Crown’s lawyer.
BC ambulance services treated staff members for injuries and transported one victim to hospital. Firearms were found at the scene.
The 100 Mile House RCMP is still investigating using high-quality videos from the restaurant.
