MIAMI – A car crashed in front of a home in the city of Miami on Wednesday morning, killing three people and injuring two others, officials confirmed.
A rollover crash was reported in the area of Northeast Second Avenue and 82nd Street. The car also caught fire after the accident.

Miami police say three people in the car died. A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and another man was taken to Ryder’s trauma center at Jackson Hospital, where he died.
Police identified the three victims as Baile Priscilla Buceri, 23, Candido Miguel Barroso-Nodarse, 22, and Ernesto Enrique Carallero, 23.
Police said two brothers in the house were injured and they received minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

“The car stopped next to the house while I slept with my brother,” Searlene said.

“What woke me up was the wall when it came down on me. I slept (and) woke me up. That’s when I saw the fire, “said Surlin.
Miami Fire Rescue Captain Ignatius Carroll said the fatal crash had temporarily closed Northeast 82nd Street on Fourth Avenue.
Police said three people living in the home would be offered help, as the house is currently likely to be in danger of staying.
Forensic scientists are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash.
“We believe speed can be a factor. It is still too early in the investigation. We are investigating him to see if this played a role in the incident, “said Officer Michael Vega.
No other details were released immediately.
