Johnny Depp took the stage during Jeff Beck’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday (May 30th).
The actor, who is currently involved in a notorious court battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, previously played with Beck the night before in Sheffield.
Depp is suing Hurd for $ 50 million (£ 38.2 million). He claims that Hurd hinted that he had abused her in a 2018 Washington Post publication on domestic violence.
Hurd is suing for $ 100 million (£ 80.9 million), accusing Depp of organizing a “defamation campaign” against her and describing his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment”.
Fans shared photos and video of the actor’s unannounced appearance on Albert Hall on social media.
During their performance in Sheffield, Depp – who began his career as a musician and founded The Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry in 2015 – and Beck played their 2020 collaboration “Isolation”, a remake of a song by John Lennon since 1970.
They also performed covers of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye and “Little Wing” by Jimi Hendrix.
A report in Deadline suggests that the actor will also join Beck on stage during another meeting at Albert Hall tomorrow (May 31).
