SEGA has published a first look at the gameplay for the upcoming Sonic Frontiers, showing a drastic departure from the 3D Sonic games of the past.
The joke comes before the one-month exclusive deal with IGN, which starts in June. We will receive more revelations of the game, practical impressions of the game and interviews with the creators. We hope that maybe a release date!
The gameplay itself seems to boast an impressive open world, not entirely different from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild from 2017. Sonic is currently the only character presented, but we will be surprised if at some point there are no similar of Tails and Knuckles. We also get a brief look at some of the game’s enemies, along with various means of passage.
