A Illinois man’s trip to the dentist took him to hospital after inhaling a drill during his visit.
Tom Josie, 60, told WISN 12 News that he had undergone a simple routine when he accidentally took a breath that sent the dentist’s tool deep into his lungs.
“I went to the dentist for a dental filling and after what I know, I was told that I had swallowed this tool,” he said of the battle in. “It simply came to our notice then. All I felt was a cough. ”

Dr Abdul Alrayes, a lung expert who treated Josie at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, Visk, told News Channel 10 that Josie may have inhaled a little when he inhaled just before coughing.

Apparently the bite was so low in Josie’s lungs that it was out of sight and Josie had to have a CT scan.
“When I saw the CT scan and where this object was sitting, it was really far down in the right lower lobe of the lung,” Alrayes said.
