Some royal fans and experts are unhappy with the royal family’s invitation to Megan Markle and Prince Harry to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s platinum anniversary.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited after a secret visit to the Queen on the way to the Invictus Games in The Hague.
According to Express UK, the royal couple will be allowed to join the company and other events to celebrate the Queen’s throne’s historic 70th birthday.
Commenting on the invitation, royal author and commentator Angela Levin said: “I think the chance for Harry and Megan to stick to the royal line after going their own way for years is a pie in the sky. Instead of keeping them on the balcony, we will lose a lot of support from those who admire the queen and high royalty.
A spokesman for Megan and Harry confirmed the invitation, but said no decision had been made on whether or not to attend, according to GB News.
