So far, you may have noticed that those in Destin for the SEC spring meetings do not comment on the Nick Saban-Jimbo Fisher saga.
Even Fisher said on Wednesday he was moving forward.
Paul Feinbaum asked LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward about the relationship between the Alabama coach and the Texas A&M coach.
“I will not go between two hills fighting from West Virginia. It’s a safe situation, “Woodward said when he appeared on the Paul Feinbaum Show on Wednesday.
“Two hills are fighting …”

Woodward certainly knows both coaches. Woodward’s time at LSU overlaps with Saban’s time from 2000 to 2004, which is also the same time as Fisher worked for Saban at Baton Rouge. Woodward, who was the athletics director of Aggies, hired Fisher in 2017.
Last month, the two head coaches lit fireworks. Fisher called Saban a “narcissist.” These remarks were made after the Alabama coach accused Aggie and Deion Sanders of Jackson State of paying for players.
Saban apologized, and SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey followed a public reprimand for both.
However, Sanki’s comments on the NIL deals may shed some light on where he is in the feud.
