France has signed US-developed agreements on Artemis and joined an international lunar exploration program, the US State Department said on Wednesday.
France is the 20th country to sign the Artemis agreements drawn up by NASA and the US State Department.
The principles of the agreements include peaceful exploration, transparency, interoperability, emergency assistance, registration of space objects, publication of scientific data, heritage protection, space resources, deconflict of activities and orbital debris.
