It was a long week. I deserve that too.
“The Northerner”, the latest film by director Robert Eggers, is coming out this week. Inspired by the Scandinavian legend of Omelet, the film is a bloody drama about the revenge of the Vikings, which, to describe it in terms of professional critics, is utterly shocking. I highly recommend you see it. The main role is played by the best Swede, Alexander Skarsgård, who is also a producer. He has been trying to make a film about the Vikings since 2011, so this is a big moment in his career. He’s really great at this and can be the pinnacle of acting for an actor who has often been dismissed as handsome (like, super incredibly handsome), but doesn’t have much range. These people are obviously wrong, but don’t mind looking at him. So, let’s just dedicate this post to evaluating the hottest of the seemingly ever-growing Skarsgård clan. Go on, you deserve it.
