Members of the public have been asked not to approach the Scotsman, who has been missing for almost two weeks.
James Clacher of Belshill, Lanarkshire, was last seen in Airdrie at around 4pm on Monday, May 30th.
He is an avid pedestrian who regularly covers long distances and is thought to have traveled through the Tindrum area.
The 53-year-old’s car, a Suzuki Swift, was traced to the Loch Long car park in Arochar, Argyll and Butte after his disappearance.
Police in Scotland have previously said they are “extremely concerned” about James’ well-being.
They added that it was “completely uncharacteristic” for him not to be in contact with his family and friends.

On Tuesday, June 7, a week later, when James announced his disappearance, they spoke to 90 people in Tindram and Arochar.
Officials are now asking the public not to approach him if they meet him and contact them instead.
James is described as 5 feet 6 inches, athletic and bald.
He is believed to have been wearing gray cargo pants with a black jacket or poncho, a black hat and black sneakers when he was last seen.
