It could be an elimination game for the Warriors, who will not become the second team in NBA history to recover from a 3-1 deficit in the finals to win the title. This makes Golden State feel like a smart bet. This is the more desperate team.
However, the Boston Celtics increasingly look like a clearly superior team. They must not compromise at both ends of the court with their squads, while Golden State must choose attack or defense. The Celtics have more creators, better defense and are much bigger and more athletic.

Boston was not great at home in the playoffs, but Stephen Curry, who shot 49 percent in 12 3s per game in the first three games of this series, is the best chance for a striker.
It’s still tight. Personally, I predicted that the Celtics would win the series of seven in the beginning and I still believe in that. I think the Warriors will find a way to win Game 4 and turn it into a three-game series returning to San Francisco, but most of my colleagues disagree. It is difficult to argue with them. Again, Boston looks like a better team.

Game presented Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors
Prediction of the Celtics against the Warriors, game selection 4
Bill Reiter: It was certain earlier this week that the Warriors would win one of those two games in Boston. Steph Curry is Steph Curry. Clay Thompson will certainly return the blow, at least for one game. Draymond Green will support his tough speech with an impactful, strong game. Jordan Poole would finally contribute. And so on. This still seems right, even less so with the uncertainty of Curry’s injury. And yet the Warriors, as far as we know, are still the Warriors, and the recent bias is prevalent in the NBA. So if Curry isn’t too hurt to really help, the sky probably isn’t actually falling on the Warriors – and a win puts that series and its momentum back in their hands. Choice: Golden State +4 | Warriors 112, Celtics 108
Brad Botkin: It’s very simple: I bet on the competitiveness of Stephen Curry and the world-class Warriors, which has been perhaps their most important feature over the years. This team is fighting. His championship life is at stake. If Boston raises 3-1, that’s the end of it. Boston is a better team. Golden State is facing unfavorable conditions throughout the court. Still, I believe in my soul that Curry is Curry and the Warriors to find a way to make up for this by going back to San Francisco. But they’re going to have to score points to do that, because I don’t see them doing much to stop Boston. Choice: Golden State +4 | Warriors 118, Celtics 113
James Herbert: I’m just embarrassed at how confident I am at the Celtics right now. Initially, I predicted that this would be a series of seven games, and nothing about Golden State suggests that it will give up. However, we seem to be seeing a familiar story unfold: Boston understands exactly how he wants to attack his opponent, while this opponent is looking for teams that work on both sides. I can’t pick Warriors when I don’t think they’ve come up with a winning formula * and * Steph may be lame. Choice: Boston -4 | Celtics 120, Warriors 110
Colin Ward-Henninger: Many people choose the Celtics and rightly so. They physically dominated Golden State and endured great nights of shooting by Steph Curry and Clay Thompson to win Game 3. My hope for the Warriors comes from the idea that Steve Kerr spent the first three games trying to come up with combinations of lineups and rotation models. He hasn’t hit gold often, but I think there’s enough evidence to make better stakes in Game 4. They won’t dominate the boards again, and Draymond Green will come out with the fire and passion we saw in Game 2. There has not yet been time for a racing crisis in this series and this is where I think the Warriors have the upper hand. This one should be close, but I’m going to Golden State. Choice: Golden State +4 | Warriors 103, Celtics 100
Jasmine Wimbish: I would just like to start by saying that my prediction of the score is three points from the final score for Game 3, so cheers for that. Moving on to game 4 … Steph Curry said immediately after game 3 that he doesn’t think this leg injury will cost him a game. He then said on Thursday afternoon that he was playing in Game 4. All this is great news for the Warriors. However, if he is less than 100 percent, this can be worrying for this team. Clay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins showed signs of life in an attack in Game 3, which was encouraging, but Golden State could not stop anyone from the other end of the floor. The Celtics punished the Warriors for their size, limited speed and played smart and stable basketball. It felt like Boston had found the recipe to beat that team two more times, while Golden State was still trying to figure things out. Choice: Boston -4 | Celtics 120, Warriors 112
Michael Casky-Blomein: I chose Golden State to win Game 3 and it didn’t go so well. The Celtics were the more physical team in Game 3, and at times they just looked too big and too athletic for the Golden State to match, and that’s not necessarily something you can plan against. The other problem for the Warriors is that they have had trouble finding a steady result outside of Steph Curry, while the Celtics have made a more consistent contribution. Speaking of Curry, he may now be a bit lame after Al Horford landed on his feet at the end of Game 3. The Warriors need him to do so much and if he is not in full force, it will be difficult for them to win. Choice: Boston -4 | Celtics 112, Warriors 104
Sam Quinn: Here’s what I’m just struggling to overcome in three games: In the regular season, almost 48 percent of Stephen Curry’s goals were assisted. In this series, this figure has been reduced to 27.3 percent. The whole beautiful move of five in the game that Golden State relies on in attack? He’s not in. The Celtics brave the Warriors to beat them one on one, and Curry is the only goal scorer they have who is capable of doing so. Jordan Poole has an average of 12 points per game. Clay Thompson wasn’t really dribbling even on top. I just don’t see an answer to that for Warriors. Their list is not equipped for this type of series. I expect the Celtics to start splitting in Game 4. Choice: Boston -4 | Celtics 121, Warriors 102
