Celebrity Gogglebox star Denise Van Authen opened on her return to the hit series after parting ways with longtime partner Eddie Boxhall.
The TV presenter has been on the show since its launch in 2019 with her ex-boyfriend. But Van Oaten revealed that despite her separation, she will not leave the show, instead attracting her friend, singer and actor Duncan James.

Speaking about his decision to involve James in the show, Van Outen stressed the importance of finding someone with whom he has a “natural” relationship.
“The reason Gogglebox works so well is that it’s so mobile – you have to see the authenticity in friendships and relationships. Duncan and I just felt perfectly matched.

James also shared his thoughts on joining Gogglebox, saying he was not nervous about participating in a widely watched show, but was excited to work with a close friend.
“We meet so many people in this industry – so many celebrities and other things – but to say you have a real mate is far from it for me.
“Denise is one of those people for me. I know I can trust her and that’s one of the most important things, plus she knows she can trust me.”
Van Auton and James will join the new Celebrity Gogglebox season along with other stars, including Rylan Clark with his mother Linda, Nick Grimshaw and niece Liv, Paul Sinha of The Chase and his husband Oliver and Happy Mondays bandmates Sean Ryder. and without.
