Ambulances were called to Maple Ridge on Thursday night for a serious collision involving a train, a semi-truck and an SUV.
The collision occurred on a section of track near 272 Street and Lougheed Highway.
The BC’s emergency medical services said they had been notified of a collision with the three vehicles shortly before 5:45 p.m.
It says an air ambulance and two ground ambulances were present at the scene, but could not provide up-to-date information on the number or severity of injuries.

Footage from the scene shows that a vehicle was crushed under the flat bed of a semi-truck right on the side of the train crossing. Firefighters used retrieval equipment to cut off the top of the vehicle.
