Suns vs. Pelicans Result: Updates on NBA playoffs live while New Orleans hosts Chris Paul Phoenix-led in Match 3

The New Orleans Pelicans have stolen Game 2 in Phoenix, which means they already have an advantage on the home court against the NBA’s top-ranked Suns. Devin Booker left in the second half with a hamstring injury and his absence helped the Pelicans bring out the upset victory on the road. With the series moving to Big Easy, Chris Paul and Co. will seek to return on Friday night and regain the lead in the series in the first round. Despite Booker’s absence, the Suns have a small lead over the Pelicans after a three-quarter game in New Orleans in Game 3.

Booker scored 31 points in the first half – the most of any player this postseason – before leaving the game forever. Phoenix, 8-6 without Booker this season, will have to move forward with its guard of sharp shots. Suns received 17 points and 14 assists from Paul, who lost his 13th consecutive playoff game led by Scott Foster. The Suns are 32-9 on the road this season. Pels, meanwhile, are 11-3 in their last 14 games, playing both Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum.
