Lauren Graham and Peter Krause separated after more than 10 years together.
The couple “quietly ended their relationship last year,” the Gilmore Girls’ alumni confirmed to People Friday.
Graham, 55, and the 56-year-old former Six Feet Under star met in 1995 while appearing on the NBC carolline sitcom before receiving their iconic roles.
“She made me move some furniture to her apartment for her then,” Krause explained during a 2017 performance with Kelly Live. “I didn’t catch the signal.”
They also performed together at the 2002 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
However, the longtime friends did not meet until they were chosen as siblings Sarah and Adam Braverman in “Parenthood” in 2010.

“One of the things that was so much fun was that it was so easy,” Graham said of working with his then-boyfriend in an interview with Redbook in 2010. “It’s a lot to work with someone and spend time with them.”
She added of their romance: “No one has known about it for a while, because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out. I was also very protected from him because it’s important to buy us as a brother and sister in the show. “

The actress looked back on the first days of their relationship in an interview with Good Housekeeping in 2017, revealing: “We could not stop talking. Not for myself, but for the world, books and family.
“Once we got together, there was no game[ing]”She explained. “It was like, ‘You like me and I like you.’ This gave me an understanding of life: that’s how things happen, and it’s completely coincidental.”

The COVID-19 pandemic found the couple in different rhythms as Graham returned home after five months working in Vancouver with Krause and his son Roman, who had introduced several new protocols in her absence.
“I think it was harder to re-enter,” she said during her participation in the April 2021 Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Rather, they were a married couple, and I was the person who told her, ‘We don’t do it that way anymore.'” They said, “No, no, no, that’s the way it is.”
