Fire crews were called and the road was closed after two people got stuck in a cherry picker in Sefton.
The Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) was called to Bridge Road, Blondlands, Crosby yesterday (Saturday). An eyewitness claims that people installed roof tiles without scaffolding when they got stuck.
The crews were alerted at 13.17 and on the spot at 13.22. Two firefighters were present, as well as a search and rescue device and an aircraft.

Merseyside police were also present and helped close the roads. Upon arrival, crews found two people in a cherry picker, approximately two floors up.
The crews used the aircraft to safely lift the two to the ground unscathed. MFRS left the scene at 14.39.
