Will Smith reappeared after that slap, but far, far away from Hollywood.
Will landed at a private airport in Mumbai, India, and it was clear that the paparazzi in India knew he was coming. They called his name when he arrived at his hotel, and he was more than happy to give the folders, along with some serious fans, removed and a smile.
I have no idea why he’s there – whether for business or pleasure, but he didn’t look any worse to wear … posing with someone who looked like the pilot at the hotel.
He even stopped for a few fans who desperately wanted selfies with the actor.
Will said nothing publicly after his apology after hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars … a slap that brought him a 10-year suspension from Academy events, including the Oscars.
Several of his film projects were put on ice after the slap. It is unclear whether they will be abolished altogether or whether film companies are just waiting for the commotion to subside before things can be reset.
