Dozens of Northern Echo readers have left their condolences after the death of a 25-year-old woman.
Natalie Marshall died after the car she was driving left the road and crashed into a tree near Darlington on Friday.
Her friends and family are left devastated by the tragedy that shocked society.
Much respect has been paid to Natalie, who the family describes as hardworking and selfless and as a person who can light up any room she enters.

Flowers, balloons, photos and messages were left on the side of A167 near Coatham Munderville, where the crash happened around 3.15am on Friday morning.
Another man in his 20s was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
