Paramedics in Ottawa say two people were taken to hospital after a 416 crash on West Hunt Club Road early Saturday afternoon.
It was the second major crash of the day at 416 after a trailer carrying a milk tractor rolled south of Roger Stevens Drive early Saturday morning.
Paramedics say they were called in a car crash shortly after 12:30 p.m. Both patients were in serious but stable condition. There were no other details about them.
Ottawa firefighters had to remove the roof of the vehicle to free a trapped man.
All the southern lanes were closed briefly at the West Hunt Club, but have since reopened.
