Shortly after the release of the first image of the Pixel Watch, it seems that we get a full view of the whole device for the first time. According to a report by Android Central, one of the readers of the publication found an abandoned Pixel Watch in a restaurant, took photos and sent it. Although we don’t know much about the specifications of the watch, we know that it will probably be presented at this year’s Google I / O exhibition.
Unfortunately, the reader was not lucky enough to load the clock and look at the software. The farthest they could see in the device was the launch logo, which was “G” and didn’t go any further than that. The source said that this watch could be a “testing model for the Internal Pixel team”, although it has not been confirmed.
However, the images above match what we’ve already seen, suggesting that this is indeed a Pixel Watch – or a very good copy. It also seems to have a button under the crown for sure and what could be another button above the crown. Previous rumors have suggested that this watch has two buttons, one of which is a special button for voice assistant. The source also said that the lower part of the watch “looks metal, but it feels like it is covered with glass.”
As for the bracelet, it seems to be Google’s own ribbon made of some kind of jelly material. This means that you won’t be able to just put on each watch strap, and you’ll probably have to use the official Google straps that it will probably sell.
The most interesting thing about this leak is not that the Pixel Watch was obviously found in a restaurant, but that it was left next to the box. It is believed that a Google employee had this device with them and forgot it, but why would they bring the box with them?
According to Android Central, a message at the bottom of the box reads: “This device is not authorized as required by Federal Communications and Industry Canada regulations, nor has it been tested for compliance with EU regulations.
The same note also states that the model is for “internal testing and development only” and that “the markings and packaging are not final”.
