Three Winnipeg subways have been closed due to flooding as rain continues to fall in the city and highways outside the city have been closed due to snow elsewhere in the province.
The subway on Osborne Street south of Confusion Corner, McPhillips Street on Logan Avenue and Main Street on Higgins Avenue are closed, while others are partially flooded, tweeted the Winnipeg Traffic Control Center on Saturday night.
Winnipeg police and fire paramedics are on the scene to divert traffic, the tweet said.
The city is asking people to avoid other subways or be careful when passing through them at night.

Meanwhile, the province closed a number of highways in western Manitoba on Saturday in response to poor driving conditions.
