The body was found by police looking for a missing man from Belfast, who was last seen four days ago.
In recent days, widespread calls have been made for Joshua McCaune, who was reported missing in the North Belfast area on Wednesday (June 22nd).
The 26-year-old was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt, shorts and white sneakers, and his family has asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.

In a statement Sunday night, police confirmed that the body had been found in the North Belfast area and had not yet been officially identified.
A spokesman said: “Police searching for missing person Joshua McCaune found a body in northern Belfast this afternoon, Sunday, June 26.
“An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death, but at the moment the death is not being treated as suspicious. The body has not yet been officially identified and there are no further details at this stage.”
