Hamilton police say they were called to three shootings that occurred within 80 minutes on Monday, including an incident in which someone was hit by a shooting.
Investigators say they were called to a home rented by AirBmB in the Mohawk Road West area and Magnolia Driver at 10:30 p.m.
“One of the occupants fired a careless firearm at the home, causing minor damage,” officials said on Tuesday.
The suspect in the incident was described as a white man in his 30s, five feet tall and nine inches tall with a medium build.
About ten minutes later, police were called to Main Street East and Holton Avenue South for a new shooting.
One person was injured in the shooting and had to be transported to a hospital to treat his non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect in the incident fled the scene before police arrived.
He is described as a black man, five feet ten inches tall, with short dreadlocks, wearing a blue suit and white sneakers.
At 11:50 p.m., police were called to a third shooting scene on Douglas and Mars Boulevards.
Investigators found evidence of multiple shots fired at a home.
No one was injured in the incident.
Investigators say they are asking anyone who was nearby around 11:15 pm who has a surveillance camera or dashboard to contact them.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the criminal investigation branches of Division 1 or Division Three or Crime Stoppers.
