Nike (NKE) – Nike fell 2.4% in pre-market trading, although it reported better-than-expected quarterly profit and revenue. Jefferies Financial (JEF) – Jefferies fell 4.4 percent in the stock market after quarterly earnings fell short of analysts’ forecasts, even though the investment firm’s earnings exceeded forecasts. Playtika (PLTK) – Israeli-based mobile game developer noted that its shares rose 3.2% in pre-market trading after a report by Axios that Joffre Capital is buying a majority stake.

Roivant Sciences (ROIV) – Shares of the biopharmaceutical company jumped 7.9% in the premarket after it introduced a new biotechnology company called Priovant Therapeutics in partnership with Pfizer (PFE). Pfizer will hold a 25% stake in Priovant, which will focus on new therapies for autoimmune diseases.

Snowflake (SNOW) – Snowflake rose 3.4% in pre-sale action after Jefferies upgraded the company’s stock for cloud computing to “buy” from “hold”. Jefferies likes Snowflake’s growth potential and notes its “stable” foundations and “almost flawless” performance. Snowflake won more than 32% in a five-session winning streak before losing 2.2% yesterday.
