The Knicks are the Nerlens Noel Mall and keep Alec Burks to the Pistons, tweet Adrian Voynarovski of ESPN.
The Knicks will land more than $ 19 million in salary in 2022/2023 in the deal, providing enough space for free agent Jalen Brunson to sign the guard. Noel has a salary of $ 9.24 million next season, while Burkes owes approximately $ 10 million.
Both players were signed in the 2023/24 season, but have team options in the final year of their respective contracts – Noel at $ 9.68 million and Burks at approximately $ 10.5 million. So those salaries could drop from the Pistons upper limit next summer.
