Russia’s Vladimir Putin has swung at Western leaders, who have ridiculed him for riding bare-breasted, saying they will look “disgusting” in bias.
The Kremlin’s strongman made the angry remark during a visit to the Russian-friendly Central Asian republic of Turkmenistan on Thursday when asked about G7 leaders who mocked him earlier this week.
As they sat for talks in the German Alps, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson jokingly said that G-7 leaders could take off their clothes to “show that we are tougher than Putin” and “show them their breasts.”
His Canadian counterpart, Justin Trudeau, joked that they might try to compare the scandalous photos of Putin’s naked torso from 2009 to “an image of a horse riding bare-breasted.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded with a hand to Western leaders for mocking his bare-breasted riding. AP Putin said that the leaders who attended and mocked the G7 summit would look “disgustingly” topless because they drank alcohol and did not drink sports. Speaking to reporters in Turkmenistan on Thursday, the Russian president applauded in response to G-7 participants, suggesting that they could not imitate him because, unlike him, they lead an unhealthy lifestyle.
“I don’t know how they wanted to undress, above or below the waist,” he said. “But I think it will be a disgusting sight anyway.”
The 69-year-old president added: “Everything in a person must be harmonious: body and soul, but for that to happen, he needs to stop abusing alcohol and other bad habits, exercising and playing sports.

Putin then issued a patronizing tone, explaining that he knew all the G7 leaders and that they were all “people of character who could succeed if they did.”
He gave a lecture that “they have to work on themselves, but the very fact that they are talking about it is already good is commendable.”
Putin has been photographed several times without a shirt while riding a horse, hunting and fishing.
