Jesse Waters criticized President Biden on “The Five” Thursday for refusing to take responsibility for rising inflation at home and blaming it on Russia and the war in Ukraine.
JESSE WATERS: His policy is yes push Russia into Ukraine and dry them,, and it can take years. To the American driver, this doesn’t sound like a plan to lower gas prices. That doesn’t seem to be the plan at all. This thing will last forever. His policy is like things are bad, not as bad as in Mexico, and none of this is my fault and I have no plans to fix it. You can’t tell that to the American people. You can’t tell the American people that inflation is bad, but it’s worse elsewhere. We don’t live anywhere else. We live here in the United States of America. That’s like saying don’t worry about the crime, you must see Brazil. We don’t live in Brazil. We live here. And then he goes on to say, oh well, you see, Russia is to blame for gas and inflation.
BIDEN CLAIMS INFLATION IS MOSTLY PUTIN’S FAULT, NOT DEMOCRATIC SPENDING
The Fed chairman last week came out and said it wasn’t. He walks through a blown up talking point, gets shrapnel in his calves and doesn’t even feel it. He doesn’t notice the fact that it doesn’t make any sense. He has been to Europe at least twice. Has he ever been on an oil rig? Has he ever been to the border? Has he ever been to a baby milk factory? Has he been somewhere in this country where people say, yes, this is the place to be. No. He likes to fly across the Atlantic and talk about NATO.
