A man arrested over the weekend on the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation may have chosen, in the eyes of many, one of the strangest places to break into.
Around 7:40 a.m. Saturday, officers were in the community conducting inspections and patrols when they received a report of a break-in at the RCMP detachment.
After entering through an outside door, the suspect encountered the guard on duty in the cell block, who immediately called for backup.
Before other officers arrived, the suspect left the squad on foot.
