Update 4/12 16:58 PT: PlayStation Network is archived according to the official network status page.
The official PSN status page on PlayStation now lists all online services as working. If you log in to PSN on your PlayStation device now, you should be able to engage with online services.
The PlayStation did not confirm the temporary interruption, which lasted just under an hour.
PlayStation Network is currently down.
Reports from PlayStation online owners, as well as the PlayStation status page, show that PSN is currently experiencing some technical difficulties.
As shown on the sister site of IGN DownDetector, there are over 13,000 reports of PSN interruptions from 16:00 PT.
According to the official PlayStation Network status tracker, all services, from account management, online games, PlayStation Now and PSN Store, are experiencing problems.
There is still no official word on why exactly there is a break or how long it will be until the services return to normal. So check back with IGN, as we will update this history when services resume or there is an official announcement.
