Chinese smartphone maker iQoo has launched the Neo 6 smartphone in its home market. The base version of the 5G smartphone 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage is priced at 2799 Chinese yuan (about Rs 35,000). There is also an 8GB + 256GB variant, which retails for 2999 Chinese yuan (around Rs 35,900) and a 12GB + 256GB variant, which is priced at 3299 Chinese yuan (around Rs 39,400). It is not yet known if the company plans to bring the device to India. The iQoo Neo 6 smartphone has a 6.62-inch full-HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The display is available with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and has a built-in fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, combined with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone runs Android 12 with customized OriginOS Ocean skin on top. For imaging, there is a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Plus GW1P main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor and 2MP monochrome lens. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front. In terms of connectivity options, the phone comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS / A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. The various sensors that the device comes with are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. iQoo Neo 6 is supported by a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W Flash Charge fast charging.
