A cyclist died after a collision in Gloucester near KFC

A group of disabled doctors tried to rescue a cyclist who collided with a car in Gloucester last night. This morning, the police confirmed that despite the efforts of the scene, the cyclist died.

Witnesses to the Eastbrook Road collision near the Metz Way KFC just before 7pm are now being sought. The cyclist, who police say is a 41-year-old man from Gloucester, was initially treated at the scene – an effort led by non-working doctors turned out to be nearby when the collision occurred.

The road was closed for several hours for investigators to work. It reopened just before 4 am (April 30).
