“We talked about the surprise she left in the boss’s bed before she left the apartment,” Jenkins said.

According to PEOPLE, Romero admitted that he did not see “any scars or bruises” on Hurd’s face, but admitted that he did not know if she was wearing make-up at the time.
His statement echoed that of LAPD officer Melissa Saenz, who responded to an emergency call at the couple’s home in 2016, in which she testified that she “did not identify (Hurd) as a victim of domestic violence.”

Meanwhile, Terrence Doherty, chief adviser to the American Civil Liberties Union, who helped draft Hurd’s article on domestic violence, said he worked to ensure her article did not violate a non-disclosure agreement Depp had in connection with their divorce in 2016. The final published version, he admitted, is different from what she originally wanted to appear.
Jurors also heard Depp’s business manager, Ed White, say the actress bought several bottles of wine for $ 500 each. In return, Hurd’s lawyers raised his excesses, which included spending millions of dollars to shoot the ashes of journalist Hunter C. Thompson from a cannon.
Depp has already taken a stand on the current case, with Hurd expected to testify in Virginia’s courtroom next week.
