The Milwaukee Bucks strike first in their Eastern Conference semifinal battle against the Boston Celtics with an impressive 101-89 road victory in Game 1. Janice Adetokunmpo finished with a triple-double (24 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists) while the Bucks stole home court away from Boston in TD Garden.
The Celtics took the lead early, but the Bucks soon took control and did not give up. Milwaukee held on tight during a long stretch in the third when Janice went on the bench with four fouls. Meanwhile, Boston’s attack is fought miserably in the beginning. The team finished 28 with 84 shots (33 percent) in the loss, including just 10 2 points from the flight. He was scared when Marcus Smart left late in the second quarter with a shoulder sting, but returned to what was a very physical race.
The defending champions entered the series against Boston as outsiders and without All Star striker Khris Middleton probably for the entire series. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday.
