Mr Parish said on Saturday that he had first searched for “tractors” and had come across “another website with something very similar and I watched it for a while”.
The 65-year-old admitted that after accidentally coming across the site, he returned and entered it a second time while waiting to vote in the hall, a decision he described as “deliberate” and “my biggest crime”.
“What I did was completely wrong. I was wrong. I was stupid. I lost my mind, “he added.
His actions sparked a debate over standards of conduct in the House of Parliament.
Kwasi Quarteng, the business secretary, insisted on Sunday that there was no culture of misogyny, only a few “bad apples”.
The minister said the House of Commons should not close all its bars in a “US-style lock” to prevent misconduct.
“I think the idea that we’re going to get into some kind of U.S.-style ban in the House of Commons, where there are no bars, I think it’s a huge overreaction,” Mr Quarteng told Times Radio.
“I think people are generally responsible. But sometimes one or two people don’t do it, as in any other area of life. “
Claas Dominator is one of the most popular combines in Europe and was first produced in Germany in the 1970s. Mr. Parish was photographed standing on one of the vehicles.
A number of other agricultural machinery companies also offer products such as lawn mowers and power harrows that use the Dominator brand.
Mr Slade said that the search terms had not been confirmed to him personally by Mr Parish.
“Very sad to see him go”
“Neil has always been very supportive of our constituents, our local association, local charities and me and my family, we know him both socially and professionally,” Mr Slade said.
“I have never had any worries about his behavior and I think Neil is completely right. I saw his interview with the BBC, which was very heartfelt, in which he said he was wrong and sorry. I had a conversation with him in which he said many similar things. “
The chairman of the elected committee was removed from the Conservative Party for the first time on Friday because two colleagues said they saw him watching the explicit contents of his mobile phone in the municipal hall and hearing an elected committee.
His resignation the next day sparked by-elections in the Tories’ safe haven in Tiverton and Honiton.
Mr Slade added: “It was a very stupid thing and now he has done what he deems worthy to do and the local association supports his decision.
“We are very sad to see him leave, he has been an excellent MP from a constituency for many years and we will have a difficult job to replace him.
Mr Slade said he believed Mr Parish would miss most of his role as chairman of the Committee on the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, as it was a cause close to his heart as a farmer.
