Former Trump aide Max Miller has won the Ohio House race

Max Miller, a former aide to President Trump, won the Republican primary in Ohio’s 7th Congressional District on Tuesday, ahead of three other Republicans for the nomination.

Vance won the Ohio Senate primary, handing Trump a key victory.

The Associated Press announced the race for Miller at 9:18 p.m. ET.

Miller’s victory comes after spokesman Bob Gibbs (Ohio) announced his resignation last month as a result of maps approved by the Ohio Redirection Commission. The new cards would make him face Miller.

Miller’s victory is also seen as evidence of Trump’s support in the county.
