Eastern Health appointments are now available for those eligible for a second COVID booster.

The second booster dose should be given at least 20 weeks after the first booster.

The second booster is available to those aged 70 and over, residents of long-term care or other residential care for the elderly, and anyone aged 18 and over who identifies as indigenous or who lives in a remote or isolated community.

Meanwhile, the first boosters are now available to teenagers aged 12 to 17 who received their second injection at least 22 weeks earlier.
